Sixteen new TV channels will debut with Quad graphics, with the latest offering from the broadcaster and the TEN channel.
The TEN network will be the first to get Quad graphics with the launch of its newest offering, The Quad (the show’s title is a play on the acronym TEN, a number which denotes the number of channels and is used in the programming industry).
The new channel will be available on TENS channels in Ireland and UK.
TEN is currently the only Irish broadcaster to offer Quad graphics.
A new channel, The Double (the channel’s title means double), is also launching with a special Quad graphics package.
Sixteen channels and two channels will also be available in Ireland, UK and US for TEN’s Quad HD channels.
A total of 25 channels will be included in the Quad package for the new channels, including Channel One (the network’s flagship channel) and Channel Nine (the Channel Nine HD channel).
Quad HD is the same package that was introduced in January 2016 with Quad HD Plus, with two new channels added to the package.
The Quad package will include: – 24-bit, 4K UHD, and HDCP 2.2, the latest standards for digital video content
